These can work in both the front or back of the house, and can be utilized in a number of different ways. Some simply prefer the screen to keep the bugs away while you enjoy your cup of coffee on the porch, and others are looking for something a little more luxurious. The screen helps to control the temperature while still letting fresh air in, and works to protect outdoor furniture from the harsh weather elements. Because of these advantages, many people opt to create outdoor dining rooms or lounge areas in screened-in areas!
The classic wrap around porch is another common design choice, and has become a symbol of a simple, country home. Depending on the size of your house, these porches can house rockers, couches, swings and dining tables. For hill country dwellers, these are great look-out spots to sit and watch the sunset.

Leading into your backyard, this is great for kids and dogs that love to come and go, and parents who want to keep an eye on them.
Create your own outdoor living space. If you enjoy spending time relaxing outdoors, an outdoor living space would be a fantastic addition to your home! Typically, these areas are covered, allowing couches, seats and tables to stay better protected. These areas are customizable, how you outfit it is up to you! Install a T.V. for watch parties, a bar and grilling area for hosting, a fireplace for date nights, or a dining table for backyard dinners.
